The PCE-LT1 Voltmeter is ideal for quickly testing network connections. With this Voltmeter 8 pin RJ-45 cables and connectors, as well as co-axial cables with BNC connectors (using an optional adaptor) continuity can be verified, confirming connectivity andshort circuits. The LEDs shows in succession the Pin communication of the cable being tested, and with a short circuit, more than two LEDs are lit simultaneously. Patch cables can also be tested, as well as cables that are run inside of walls using a remote unit for cables running from panels or consoles up to a distance of 300m.
