USC 30 is a defectoscope designed for the non-destructive testing (NDT) and non-destructive evaluation (NDE) of electrically conductive materials. This portable, handheld defectoscope detects surface defects and measures layer thicknesses using an eddy current. The USC 30 defectoscope also measures metal conductivity in accordance with the International Annealed Copper Standard (IACS).

The USC 30 defectoscope has myriad applications including weld seam testing, crack detection, metallurgical and material sorting tests, quality assurance and control, aviation component testing of turbine blades, and pipeline and container testing in the chemical, oil and gas industries.
