The oxygen meter is a measuring device to determine the oxygen content both in liquids and in the ambient air. With this oxygen meter, water analysis can be carried out on the oxygen content in a very short time and with an integrated temperature sensor, the oxygen meter is able to carry out an automatic temperature compensation. As a result, the oxygen meter is also used for analyzing the oxygen content of lakes or streams, as strong temperature fluctuations can occur here, which falsify the measurement result. This oxygen meter is also used, for example, in fish farming.
Before the initial start-up, the sensors on the oxygen meter are initially dry. In order to carry out a measurement, the sensors of the oxygen meter must be provided with the electrolyte supplied. Even if the membrane is possibly damaged, it can be replaced with the oxygen meter in just a few steps. This ensures that the oxygen meter is ready for use again within a very short time.
