The glossmeter Spektromaster 565 is especially applied for quality checks of many devices. The glossmeter has the main advantage of being able to measure color and gloss simultaneously. Since color and gloss significantly define the appearance of a product, it is important that two samples with the same color have also the same gloss. Samples with the same color but diverging gloss, appear to the human eye not the same, as the glossy surface is perceived as more sated and even darker. Therefore an inspection with the glossmeter is essential in order to achieve a consistent general picture. Thus both effects must be checked regularly during development and production. A common glossmeter can only detect one parameter at a time, but not both at the same time. With the glossmeter the cause for the deviation can always be easily determined. For the glossmeter the measurement is performed regardless of the color. Whether it is darker or brighter colors has no relevance. A resolution of 10 nm allows precise color values as well as high compliance with other devices, so that the quality control of products is significantly simplified with the glossmeter. Due to a well-arranged menu navigation with only four cursor keys and a low weight of only 500 g even for inexperienced user and beginners the glossmeter is easy to handle.
