The one-time use data logger PCE-OWL distinguishes temperatures between -30 and +70 ° C and can store up to 32,000 readings. The data logger is used specifically in the transport sector, as it is often of paramount importance here that the temperature is monitored. This is particularly essential with shipments of food. The logging interval of the data logger can be set as needed. With the bar code on the data logger, the data logger can be assigned unambiguously to wherever it is placed.
 
The handling and commissioning is very simple and straightforward, the data logger can be put into operation as soon as the freely available software has been installed on a computer. The measurement is started or stopped via the installed key. The readout of the measured data can be done on a PC with the appropriate software. For this purpose, the data logger is stopped and connected via USB to a PC. The measured values ​​are then displayed automatically. The extensive software allows the data to be viewed in MS-Excel or PDF. Another function of the data logger is the alarm signaling if the temperature is out of the set target temperature range.
