The belt tension meter is an optically measuring maintenance tool for determining the belt tension force. This belt tension meter consists of a display device and a sensor head attached on a semi-flexible gooseneck. The advantage of the gooseneck is that the sensor head can be flexibly positioned. Due to the mobility of the gooseneck, the sensor can measure the strand force even in hard to reach places. The belt tension measuring device measures the belt tension (in Newton) and the belt frequency (in Hz) of the belt in the stationary state.

A small impulse on the belt is sufficient to set the belt vibrating. The belt tension meter measures with the sensor the natural frequency of the belt generated in this way and visualizes it on the display. The belt tension meter can directly determine the actual tension (in Newton / Pound Force) of the belt from the belt frequency combined with the optionally entered belt length and belt mass. However, entering this data is not necessarily required in order to carry out the measurements directly with the belt tension measuring device. The measurement units in the device can be switched between N (SI unit) and pound force (US unit).

The reading is always shown as the belt frequency in Hz on the display of the belt tension measuring device. The intuitive graphic menu is visualized on the high-contrast display of the belt tension measuring device in six different languages. Up to 750 data records can be stored in the memory of the belt tension measuring device. The belt tension measuring device is delivered completely ready for use. The scope of delivery includes the handheld device, the standard sensor with gooseneck, a magnetic holder, batteries and operating manual. To increase the flexibility during the measurement, the following items are optionally available to the belt tension meter: an external sensor head with a spiral cable, a device hard case, a frequency mallet and a tripod.

The vibration meter is the ideal companion for checking vibrating parts, machines and plant. With the external vibration sensor of the vibration meter, the vibration displacement up to 3.9 mm, the vibration velocity up to 399.9 mm/s and the vibration acceleration up to 399.9 m/s² can be determined. RMS, peak, peak-to-peak and crest factor are available as measurement parameters on the vibration meter. Another function of the vibration measuring device is the automatic evaluation according to ISO 10816-3. Accordingly, the vibration meter can determine the current vibration state of a machine via a good/bad evaluation. This means that the vibration meter is used, for example, for repair and maintenance work on machines. The built-in LiPo battery with a capacity of 2500 mAh allows a battery life of up to 20 hours. The LiPo battery can be recharged via the micro-USB interface on the vibration measuring device.

In order to process the measured values further, they can be saved directly on the vibration meter. An internal memory is available for this. The measured values can be saved manually as well as automatically by the vibration measuring device. After a measurement, the recorded measured values can be read out on a PC. The software for the vibration meter can be used to analyse the measured data using the graphic display and tabular listing. The measurement data can be exported as a CSV file for further processing. If a firmware update is available for the vibration meter, this can also be carried out directly via the software.

The tachometer PCE-T 238 is a battery-powered hand-held device that allows mobile use. The handheld tachometer can perform a contact measurement as well as a non-contact measurement. It is also possible to perform a measurement of the surface velocity. The handheld tachometer allows a measurement of up to 99,999 revolutions per minute. This measuring range is possible with contactless measurements with the optical tachometer. With the contact measurement, values up to 19,999 revolutions per minute can be determined, and the measurement of the surface speed offers the possibility of determining speeds of up to 1999.9 meters per minute. Such measurements can be started directly with the tachometer and do not require much preparation.

The user does not have to pay attention to the direction of rotation when using the tachometer, as this device works independently. Thus, it is suitable for use in the care and maintenance of machines. Non-contact measurement also makes it possible to check the speed of hard-to-reach components.
