The cable length measuring device PCE-CLT 10 is a multifunctional device which enables high accuracy and fast measurement results. If used appropriately, the cable length meter can be used to measure cables that have already been installed and are still to be installed. The cable length measuring device can be used to determine cable lengths of up to three kilometers. This is done by a time domain reflectometer. On the cable length measuring device itself, 20 standard types of cables are pre-stored and further storage of up to 99 cable types is also possible on the device itself. The stored data can be viewed directly on the device and can be used as required. Due to the built-in technology comparatively short cables can already be tested. The minimum length that a cable must have, which should be examined with the Cable Length Gauge.
To increase battery life, the device automatically shuts off after 10 minutes of inactivity. This automatic shutdown can be set individually by the user at intervals of 10 minutes. In addition to the automatic shutdown, the device offers a bright TFT display, which makes a quick reading of the measurement results also possible due to its backlighting.
