The flow measuring device is a measuring device for fixed installation. The flow rate of liquids in pipes can be determined with this flow meter. The sensors from the flow meter can be mounted directly on the pipes to be measured without having to cut them open. This enables the flow meter to be installed even during operation. 

 

Another special feature of the flow meter are the different outputs. It is possible to get the flow rate converted by the flow meter into an analog 4… 20-mA signal. Any other measurement value can be transmitted via the pulse output (OCT) from the flow meter. It is also possible to receive the measured values ​​directly via the Modbus outputs RS232 and RS485. This allows the flow meter to be integrated directly into the process control. 

 

Compared to other flow meters, it is also possible to connect temperature sensors with this flow meter. This allows the temperature of the liquid to be measured to be read directly from the flow measuring device. The flow meter can now determine the thermal output based on the measured temperature. The flow meter is therefore used, for example, in the measurement of heating systems.
