Leak detection using sound / Includes noise-cancelling headphones

The ultrasonic leak detector LDC 10 is used in a wide range of industries. For example, the ultrasonic leak detector can help identify leaks in compressed air, gas, steam, vacuum and refrigeration systems as well as around door seals. The noise-cancelling headphones of the ultrasonic leak detector ensure that the device can be used successfully even in noisy environments. The ultrasonic leak detector is used where outflows of gases from leaks in pipeline systems can occur. The noises generated by the outflow are often in the ultrasonic range and are therefore not perceived by human hearing.

The ultrasonic leak detector records this ultrasound via the sound tube and converts the inaudible ultrasound into audible frequencies. The laser pointer, which is installed in the ultrasonic leak detector, also allows an accurate targeting of the leak. The sound funnel of the ultrasonic leak detector has been designed so that it is able to pick up sound waves and bundle them in such a way that the funnel acts as a directional microphone and suppresses other noise. The scope of delivery of the ultrasonic leak detector includes a directional tube attachment, with which even the smallest leaks can be detected. The directional tube and the sound funnel can be attached easily by hand.
